Things buyers ask before connecting their Odoo
Which Odoo versions do you support?+
Versions 14 through 19, Community and Enterprise. The bot uses XML-RPC and auto-discovers your data model on first connect, so custom modules and custom fields work without configuration. We test against fresh Odoo.sh deploys and customized on-prem instances every release.
Can the bot modify Odoo data?+
No. The API key you provide is bound to a read-only Odoo user we recommend creating specifically for the bot. The bot can run searches, computations and report exports. It cannot create, update or delete records. This is enforced at the Odoo permission layer, not at the bot layer, so the guarantee holds even if our code has bugs.
What languages does the bot understand?+
English, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, French and Spanish for queries. Reports and tables render in whichever language Odoo is configured for. Cyrillic and right-to-left rendering are tested. The bot's NLP layer is what matters: ask in your language, get the answer in your language.
How is pricing calculated?+
Tiered monthly subscription with question quotas. Trial gives 20 questions for free. Starter is 39 dollars for 3 users and 200 questions. Pro is 149 dollars for 10 users and 1500 questions. Enterprise is custom. Overage is metered per question, not per user. You can cancel any time. Pricing scales with usage, which suits SME budgets.
How long does setup take?+
Five to ten minutes. Create a read-only Odoo user, generate an API key, paste it into the bot via /connect, and run /report to verify. We provide a 90-second screen recording inside the bot covering the entire flow. No installation, no firewall changes if your Odoo is reachable from the internet.
Will it work with our custom modules?+
Yes. The bot's schema-discovery pass introspects your Odoo metadata at runtime: custom models, computed fields, selection options, even one-off Studio additions. We have shipped against heavily customized Odoo 14 Enterprise and stock Odoo 19 Community. If something does not work in your tenant, we add coverage in the next release.
Is my data sent to OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?+
Your data leaves Odoo only to be summarized inside an LLM prompt and is discarded after the response. We use Claude (Anthropic) as the primary model. We do not store raw Odoo records on our side beyond what is needed for the active session. We sign DPAs on request. Self-hosted LLM is available on Enterprise tier for clients with strict data residency requirements.
